Directions from Boulder: Head east on Arapahoe Ave.  Turn right or south on 63rd Street.  Ignore the "no outlet" signs.  The road will curve left only and there will be a fence on your right along with Sombrero Marsh.  When you come to the gas pumps on your left, you will see the Sombrero Marsh Environmental Education Center beyond the fence on your right.  Please park near the fence.  There is a sign next to the main entrance that says "Thorne Ecological Institute."

If you are riding the bus from Boulder, click here for the RTD "Jump" bus schedule.  The Jump travels east and west on Arapahoe and there is a stop at 63rd St.  Get off at the 63rd St. stop and walk east on Arapahoe to 63rd St.  Turn right on 63rd St. and walk south past the storage building on your left and the mobile homes on your right.  Follow directions above.

Directions from Denver: Take I-25 North to US-36 West.  Take the Foothills/S. Boulder Road Exit and veer left onto Foothills Highway and take this to the intersection at Arapahoe Ave.  Turn right or east onto Arapahoe Ave and take this to the traffic light at 63rd St.  Turn right or south on 63rd St.  Continue with directions above.

Directions to Kassler Center: Exit C470 onto S. Wadsworth Blvd./Highway 121, which becomes S. Platte Canyon Rd.  Drive South past the US Army Corps of Engineers Visitor Center, the entrance to Chatfield State Park, and Chatfield Reservoir.  Bear left following signs for Waterton Canyon and Denver Water's Kassler Center.  Turn right into the Kassler Center property and park only long enough to drop off/pick-up and sign-in/out your child.  Otherwise, you must park in the parking lot on the left, across the street from the Kassler Center and cross the street with your child.
