- Wind Turbine Dedication - THANK YOU FOR A FANTASTIC EVENT! September 8, 2007 at Sombrero Marsh. We celebrated WIND and dedicated Thorne Ecological Institute's new wind turbine and wind energy exhibits made possible by the Rudd Mayer Wind Energy Project. Keynote Speakers were: Maggie Fox, Attorney and Conservationist; Jim Martin, Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Health and Environment; and Suzy Ageton, Deputy Mayor of the City of Boulder. There were light refreshments, kid's activities, and Music on the Marsh starring Jeff Kagan and Mark Wesson!
